Come out to our annual celebration of the Greek Independence Day.

We will be meeting in front of 7/11 just east of Pape and Danforth at 12:30pm.

Hellenic Week

A week to encourage and support Hellenism! This week will also be the only time
for nominees of the executive positions on the Hellenic Students’ Association
of the 2011/2012 school year to campaign.

-hroughout the week we will be giving away YukYuk tickets and our NEW t-shirts to
members that come out!

Please see attached document (in the HSA email sent) that indicates duties for each executive position. Campaigning will begin on March 21st, 2011.

We would like to invite you to our annual event and post-Montreal party,
Tsiknopempti, this Thursday, February 24th at Whistler’s Grille (995 Broadview
Avenue).  This is an all ages for UofT, York and Ryerson HSA and GSA members.
There will be live music and DJ Kypreos spinning.  This is a great opportunity

*INSIGHT TO HELLENISM*

The Youth Network of the World Council of Hellenes Abroad (SAE) for the region
of Canada and the HSA and GSA’s of UofT, York and Ryerson present “Insight to
Hellenism”.  This event will take place at the East Common Room of the Hart
House (7 Hart House Circle) at the UofT St. George Campus.

This event will be a series of lectures on the current topics and issues
concerning Greece today–the Macedonian issue, the Cyprus problem, and the
current economic crisis in Greece.

Skate for Toys – Skating Night and Toy Drive

The Greek and Hellenic Students’ Associations from the University of Toronto, Ryerson University and York University, the Next Generation Department of the Greek Community of Toronto, and the Consulate General of Greece would like to invite you to our first ever toy drive for the winter season. As part of an initiative to give back to the community, our universities have come together to collaborate in …a combined skate night and toy drive.

We will be meeting at Ryerson Skating Rink in the heart of Ryerson University and collecting toy donations for CP24/CHUM Christmas Wish toy drive. Toy donating will be collected at Saint George Greek Orthodox Church, located just steps from the skating rink. Free hot chocolate will also be provided.

To get to the rink by subway get off at Dundas Station. To get there by car, there is a parking garage beside the rink on Victoria Street.
